About Katherine May

Katherine MayKatherine May writes fiction and memoir, and is also known as Betty Herbert (The 52 Seductions). She lives in Whitstable, is obsessed with Devon, and loves gin martinis, the sea and walking until her legs ache. She was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2016.

Her new novel, The Whitstable High Tide Swimming Club, will be published in three parts from August 2017, and in paperback in early 2018.

In May 2018, she will also publish her memoir about living with Asperger Syndrome, The Electricity of Every Living Thing.

Katherine is Subject Lead for Creative Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University.
